Sometimes, you need someone to help hold your arms up when they get heavy. And that’s okay.

Jordan McGowen, a graduate of Kingwood High school in Houston, Texas, arrived to the DFW in 2008 to begin his collegiate career where he excelled both as an athlete and student leader. Jordan, as a four-year starter and team captain, ended his collegiate basketball career a conference champion and All-American performer. After graduating with his Bachelor of Business Finance degree as well as his Master of Business Administration degree, he launched his career at Fidelity Investments where he learned the financial industry basics.

Jordan honed his leadership expertise in research and sales working for multiple real estate brokerages, non-profits and investment management firms before growing roots at GuideStone Financial as a Sr. Manager, connecting with believers nationwide seeking financial services.

Alongside the professional service, Jordan has provided local volunteer work and oversight as an active board member for Fellowship of Christian Athletes Dallas County – Fund Development, DBU Alumni Board and DFW Upward Sports. His church membership belongs to GMTCC, located in Fort Worth, where Jordan serves on the media team and college ministry team. As an appointed mentor, he also provided years of one-on-one mentorship via the Residential Pederson College for athletes, students and staff at Dallas Baptist University.

With the eagerness to serve, Jordan has provided the youth with multiple college opportunities through his 501c3 non-profit summer basketball program, The Arlington Force. Additionally, he started his own real estate services company, MH&Co. in 2022, to assist families find their dream home with excellent customer service.

Jordan and his family, Taran (wife), Rhian (daughter), Jordan Jr. (son) reside in Fort Worth, Texas. They enjoy serving at church, spending quality time and vacationing together!
