SENIOR LEADER | CLINICAL SUPERVISOR | THERAPIST
Before we can thrive, we have to reveal, unpack, and heal from the soul wounds we’ve kept hidden away.
In life, there are many injuries that occur. If we break an arm or a finger, there is an urgency to begin the healing process. If we cut our fingers or fall and break the skin, there is no question about going to the emergency room for stitches and repair. Further than that, there is no shame attached to needing this level of care and support. However, when our hearts and mental health are at play, it often takes us years to assess the injury and begin the healing process. For many of us, these wounds took place in our childhoods, in our relationships with our parents and other family members, in those friendships that made us feel like we’re not good enough, and beyond. Today, we’ve carried those wounds into our adulthood, often doing a great job at upholding the facade that they don’t exist. But today, you’re finding them a little bit harder to hide. This may look like questioning your worth and value, being triggered and constantly reminded of trauma’s you thought you were over or weren’t impacted from, or saying things to your children that your parent said to you, that you swore you’d never say to yours. The deeply embedded, soul wounds won’t let you feel safe. They won’t let you feel cared for and seen in a way that you so longingly desire. And you’re tired of it.
You may see the word “THRIVE” and it feels like a cliche, unrealistic, way of being that you would never be able to achieve. But for some reason, you’re still wanting to strive for it. If this is you, you’re in the right place. You deserve restoration. You deserve peace. You deserve to heal. You can have a thriving life.
This work is never easy and it’s not for everyone, but it’s worth it. Together, let’s hold the space necessary to clear up the muck that’s held you back from the life you deserve. Freedom is here.
