FAQS

Common questions about clinical supervision

  • I specialize in working with adults ages 18-up who struggle with anxiety, trauma and life transitions. I also specialize in working with couples. My clinical experience ranges from school counseling, intensive outpatient, higher education, private practice and now founding a group practice.

  • I expect supervisees to approach supervision with openness, honesty, and a commitment to growth. Be prepared to actively engage in sessions, bring case material, ask questions, and reflect on your experiences. I value transparency about your challenges, including areas where you feel unsure or stuck, as this is where the most growth happens.

I also expect you to embrace feedback—both positive and constructive—and apply what you learn to your practice. Professionalism, ethical conduct, and a willingness to be vulnerable and take accountability for your work are essential. Lastly, consistent attendance, timely communication, and a proactive approach to your learning will help us make the most of our time together.
