Providing safe and affirming care for all will always be my top priority.
I am a graduate student pursuing my master's in clinical mental health counseling at Tarleton State University. Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, I assist clients in developing coping mechanisms while helping them achieve their goals.
I am experienced in working with individuals with various mental disorders from anxiety and depression to Schizoaffective and Bipolar disorder, as well as adults within different stages of life. I look forward to continuing to expand my expertise and acquire more skills at Thrive House Wellness by also working with adolescents. I am passionate about providing a supportive, empathetic, and gender-affirming environment to assist in navigating life challenges with a client-centered approach in sessions.
While under the supervision of Taran McGowen, M.A, LPC-S, I am seeking to gain practical experience in individual therapy, utilizing evidence-based approaches to foster personal growth and help clients achieve their goals.
Outside of work and school, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, trying different restaurants, hiking, and going on walks with my dog, Jayce!
